Gov Bello Is An Enemy Of The Masses, He Can’t Escape Appeal Court’s Hammer – Atumeyi

The National Chairman of Network for Change and Good Governance (NCGG), Comrade Ismaila Yusuf Atumeyi, has called on the people of Kogi State to persevere and have faith in the judges handling Kogi state governorship appeals.
Speaking with uyomiconcept after yesterday’s hearing at the Appeal Court sitting in Abuja, Atumeyi said the days of Gov Bello in Lugard House are numbered.
“The panel of Judges sitting on the governorship appeals is comprised of intelligent and good judges with good track records. Kogi people can be rest assured that justice will be served as against fears across the land that the Appeal Court judgement might be manipulated”, he said.
“The supplementary Governor Yahaya Bello will be sacked! He cannot escape the long arms of justice. He has turned himself into an enemy of the poor masses in Kogi state. He has succeeded in muddling up salary payments, turning many civil servants into urban beggars.”
“I have a message of hope to Kogi people, the caretaker governor will soon go. He is an illegal occupant in Lugard House. You have endured the worst moments in the history of Kogi State under Yahaya Bello and you have been burdened with gargantuan yoke but I assure you that very soon this terrible accident in our land will become a thing of the past. The Appeal ruling scheduled for next week will favour the masses”
Atumeyi called on all non-governmental organisations (NGOs), civil society organisations (CSOs) to follow the proceedings and monitor activities at the Appeal Court. He urged them to be the watchdog of the society.
