MISS IFE

Uyomi Concept with her teams are putting on a project for 2019 call Miss Ife 2019/2020 with the following reasons

WHAT IS PAGEANT

       I.            An elaborate public spectacle illustrative of the history of a place, institution, or the like, often given in dramatic form or as a procession of colorful floats.

    II.            A costumed procession, masque, allegorical tableau, or the like forming part of public or social festivities.

Every year, I was a bystander, an observer, an admirer. A hometown of Egor in Benin, has hosted Miss Egor. Years for as long as I can remember, and every year the occasion brought the community together.

I’d watch the parade from afar as the women slowly drove by in their convertibles, waving at the crowds of people with their giant Kentucky Derby-style hats and the biggest smiles. I’d gaze at them as they graced the stage in their glamorous gowns, perfectly placed hair, and flawless makeup. Every year, I watched the pageant and would stay up to date to see who would be so lucky to represent my own Community IFE; and every year, I would contemplate if I, too, could one day Be an organizer that can host a beauty pageant in my community so that I can affect my community positively by bringing the culture and tourism of the community to the world to see the beauty and the opportunity that is in it. When will I use the medium to create awareness to the world to invest in the Natural endowment that nature has given to us.  Also to raising a campaign against drug abuse that has hunt the community youths into partial mad men and women.

But one thought always held me back. I never considered myself that type of man that has the resource, the strength, the connection, the sponsors, the financial stability that takes to set up that kind of event in my community.

We all know the teams that it takes to set up that event. Commitment and attention that is needed, the judges and the entire event department that is needed raising fund and sponsors meeting the right people that can make such event a reality, was my biggest challenge.

But the desire to raise a foundation that will be a generational leader in my community has being a drive that is driving me forward. That passion toward raising Ife in Omala LGA of Kogi State to be one of the most famous communities in the world by providing awareness of her rich culture and tourism to the entire world. The dream to end Drug Abuse and Child abuse by providing adequate seminar and sensitization programmes for Ife inhabitants is also one of the drives that are driving me forward to put this event together.

Ife is one which the History has being under cover though I was told that it is a great place according to history, but this history has not been uncovered which might also lead to misuse of culture and tradition. There is a saying that said ‘a man who does not know His home is like a child who does not know his father. And His name can be called bustard.

Which this event call MISS IFE will bring an end to it, we are setting a platform were the History of this great community will be uncovered, with this Generation here and yet to come will know exactly where they are from. This is one of the same reasons why my desire burn each day for this MISS IFE.

After the event UYOMI J GLOBAL CONCEPT will set an Agreement that will band the Company and the Winner of Miss Ife together, with this, the pet projects will be carried out effectively and efficiently. The pet projects are listed below:

§  Creating awareness  for child abuse and drug abuse

§  Providing entrepreneur skills for the youth

§  Reaching the less privileges

§  Preaching God’s word and peace

§  Strengthen our relationship with the international bodies

§  Creating opportunities for the youths
