HON. ABEL EGBITA Condemning the Tragic Attack by Suspected Herdsmen In Omala Local Government.

HON. ABEL EGBITA
Condemning the Tragic Attack by Suspected Herdsmen In Omala Local Government.
A Call for Justice and Protection of lives and property

In a heart-wrenching incident that shook the state, 25 innocent lives were brutally taken by suspected herdsmen in a cowardly attack in Agojeju. The vicious assault not only claimed precious lives but also inflicted injuries on several individuals in a community and laid waste to vital farm produce.

The sanctity of every citizen's life is paramount, and it is the solemn duty of the state to safeguard its people from both internal and external threats. The recent atrocity perpetrated by these assailants is not just an affront to humanity but a stark violation of the fundamental rights and values that underpin our society.

Such despicable acts of violence cannot be tolerated in any civilized society. The heinous nature of this attack underscores the urgent need for swift and decisive action to ensure that justice is served and that those responsible are held accountable for their crimes.

As we mourn the loss of the innocent victims, we must also reaffirm our commitment to protecting the lives and livelihoods of all citizens. It is imperative that measures are put in place to prevent such tragedies from recurring and to provide adequate security for vulnerable communities.

In this time of sorrow and mourning, let us unite in condemning this senseless act of brutality and stand together in solidarity with the affected families. May our collective voice be a clarion call for justice, peace, and the unwavering protection of every individual within our borders.

Let us honor the memory of the fallen by working tirelessly to build a society where such atrocities have no place, and where the rights and dignity of every citizen are upheld and defended without fail. Together, let us strive for a future where peace, harmony, and justice reign supreme.

Describing the election results as declared by INEC as great injustice and a rape to Nigeria democracy, the former People’s Democratic Party, (PDP) Governorship aspirant in Kogi State said the 2023 election
recorded the highest number of voter’s turnout in the history of Nigeria.

He, however, wondered that, despite this improvement in the nations history, the outcome of the 2023 has been widely condemned by both local and international observers, thereby, making Nigeria a laughing stock among comity of Countries.

Continuing, Averehi said” this is because the youth and others came out emmass having developed confidence in the electoral process due to the provisions of the electoral act giving assurance that their votes will count.

“On the contrary the results of the election recorded the lowest turnout of voters since the advent of the fourth Republic. What a contradiction. This is a clear indication of absence of intelligence to govern a Nation and also to manipulate elections.

Why Do We Celebrate Easter? By Hon. Abel Egbita

Every year, we look forward to celebrating one of the most important occasions in the Christian calendar, Easter. Children participate in activities at school, such as eager Easter egg hunts, and are usually given holiday for two weeks to celebrate with their families

Why Do We Celebrate Easter?

Christians celebrate Easter because they believe that Jesus Christ was resurrected three days after his execution, his crucifixion on the Friday (which is now known as Good Friday). According to Christianity, his body was taken down from the cross to a tomb where he was buried. Later, people claimed that they had seen Christ and it was also confirmed that his body was missing from the tomb.
Easter normally falls anytime between March 22nd and April 25th on a Sunday, and this is dependent on which is the first Sunday after the first full moon following the first day of Spring in the Northern Hemisphere. Not only is Easter a time of fun that marks the end of Winter but it is also a wonderful occasion for us to look forward to.

I do wonder if I'm an idiot or I'm suffering from pure heart

Oga,  you are suffering  from both. I have  had several  carry overs in that course over the years.

Remedial  course:

1.If a good is not your good to do, just walk away, don't do it. And don't  feel  bad that you didn't  do it. People  are not  only ingrates and ungrateful,  they are often times self entitled  and arrogant  about it.

2.You can't  solve the  problems of the world. Don't  play God. And people  are not as stranded  as they pretend  to be, people  act up a lot. They enjoy  their  mess surprisingly, surprise  them sometimes  by allowing  them to "enjoy" or endure  their creatures.

3. As a leader, do for people  what is right for them even if it hurts you or them, not necessarily  what pleases them. Call people  to be accountable  to their decisions  right  or wrong. They can only mature or grow through  damage and  healing over time not over biological age. There are a lot of babies trapped in an adult body.

4. Choose  yourself  first, in that way you will not feel guilty  for  not calling them to self help and personal  responsibility.  Last last, this life is just bet temporarily.  When they start  paying  for their food, their rent, their passion, their  irresponsibility, their rascality, their lust, their  poor decisions and their loses then they will  why the prodigal  son came back to his senses and returned  home. I can hate 'nansesne'?!
